Here's the deal.  Everyone's looking for a bargain these days.  And, every business is including deals, discounts, and coupons in their marketing plan.  We want to connect family owned motels and hotels with travelers looking to save a few bucks.  The endless social coupon sites have wide appeal but as a marketing tool they have major flaws.  With their business model, once you figure out the deal you want to offer, you end up sharing the revenue with the site.  It's also hard to control your offer on the big sites.  I recently bought a two night stay at a bed and breakfast for $99.  A great deal.  When I hit the purchase button, they had sold 780 packages.  A fantastic way to fill rooms, lots and lots of rooms.  Remember though, they would have received only 50% of the revenue.  But what about when you only want to fill a few rooms in a slow week?  Or you need help on weekends in November?  Or you just want to dabble with a few deals and offers to see what works?  With HelpFillOurRooms you get to target your discount or special offer however it suits you.  And our readers will let you know directly if you hit the right note because they will book rooms, or maybe they won't.  Either way, since it costs you nothing (for now) to post a deal, you have nothing to lose.

Our goals are very simple;

1) reach out to independent hotels and motels and help them offer deals with HelpFillOurRooms.
2) build a network of e-mail subscribers to take advantage of the deals.
3) figure out a way to make some money by offering this service for free!

We believe that many people get into the small hotel business because it is a great live/work environment for families.  That's what we're trying to create with HelpFillOurRooms; a small family business.  We don't have visions of going public, we just want to offer a service that works.  We are committing 6 months to build this thing and then we'll see what happens.  Stick with us!
